AI Video Generator for realestate.com.au

Turn listing photos into a property video for vendor reports and social, and into a file you can try in Ignite. VideoEstate does not upload to realestate.com.au, and a soundtrack is only safe there if it meets REA's licence rules.

Vertical examples, closer to their reel guidance

REA's current Ignite help recommends a 9:16 walkthrough for the app homepage carousel. These are VideoEstate examples in that orientation, not listings from realestate.com.au.

Create a vertical file, then check Ignite's music rule

The upload happens in REA's tools or your listing uploader. The licence question happens before you press publish.

Step 1

Upload the campaign photos

Use the stills for that address. Ignite matches videos to a listing, so the file should be obviously about that property.

Step 2

Generate a vertical walkthrough

Their supplier notes recommend 9:16 and at least 720p for a Property Walkthrough Reel, with about 90 seconds as the length they suggest. That is guidance for eligibility, not a codec we certify.

Step 3

Treat music as a licensing problem

REA says listing videos need copyright-safe audio. They name their own library plus Artlist, Epidemic Sound, and Soundstripe as cases that do not need a separate licence upload. Any other music needs a licence file. Do not assume a VideoEstate soundtrack is on that list.

Step 4

Upload it in Ignite, Agent Admin, or your CRM

REA's help says Ignite uploads can be Property Walkthrough Reels or Lifestyle videos, and that only Ignite uploads are eligible for the app homepage carousel. YouTube-style links are a different path in Agent Admin or a CRM. VideoEstate performs none of those uploads.

How realestate.com.au describes listing video

realestate.com.au is run by REA Group. Agents manage campaigns in Ignite. Video on a listing is something you upload or pass through a listing uploader. It is not a feed from VideoEstate.

Two public help articles are easy to mix up. The Ignite articles describe walkthrough reels and lifestyle videos. An older requirements article describes different file types, a 1 GB cap, 16:9, and no agent or agency branding. Use the article that matches the product you are opening today.

What Ignite says you can upload

REA's upload article says users with Listing Management permission can add a Property Walkthrough Reel or a Lifestyle video. The note on that page allows up to 10 videos on a listing: one published walkthrough reel, one published lifestyle video, and eight drafts. There is no file-size cap stated for Ignite, and they recommend MP4, 9:16, at least 720p, and up to about 90 seconds if you want the best chance at the app homepage carousel. CRM and Agent Admin paths are also described, including a YouTube link in the same area as a 3D tour. Only the Ignite file upload is eligible for that carousel.

Music is the rule most AI exports will trip over

Ignite tells you to use copyright-safe or royalty-free music and recommends REA's library. The supplier specification says a licence upload is not required for the REA library, Artlist, Epidemic Sound, or Soundstripe, and is required otherwise. VideoEstate's music library is not those catalogues. If your export has music, either replace it with audio REA accepts or be ready to upload a licence. Muted or voice-only may still need a check against the article for that video type.

Vendor reports do not need Ignite's approval

A horizontal or vertical cut can go in the vendor email and on Instagram while you sort the licence for the listing. Agent Reels are yet another product: a YouTube clip on the agent profile, with the agent speaking to camera. That is not a property walkthrough, and VideoEstate does not film it.

Why make the video before the campaign upload

Ignite is one destination. The vendor and social are available either way.

A vendor cut the day the photos are in

Send a walkthrough with the campaign preview instead of holding the whole update for a videographer.

A 9:16 file ready to test in Ignite

Start from the orientation their reel guidance asks for, then confirm resolution, length, and music on the upload screen.

Social that links to the campaign

Post a teaser that sends buyers to the realestate.com.au listing even if the Ignite video is still waiting on a music licence.

Start the vertical walkthrough with AI video generation. Ignite still checks format and music before a reel can go on the campaign.

Get the campaign photos and copy ready with portal listing prep, then handle the Ignite upload separately.

Upload the whole shoot at once. Portal listing prep clears clutter from every photo together and writes one marketplace description, without changing the windows, floors, or furniture that belong to the property.

realestate.com.au video questions

Ignite is REA's upload tool. VideoEstate is not connected to it.

Does VideoEstate upload videos to Ignite or realestate.com.au?

No. You export a file. A user with Listing Management permission uploads it in Ignite, or your listing uploader sends it, if that product supports video.

Which video types does Ignite describe?

REA's help lists Property Walkthrough Reels and Lifestyle videos, with one published video of each type plus drafts. Agent Reels are a separate YouTube format on the agent profile, not the property listing.

Will VideoEstate music pass REA's copyright check?

Do not assume it will. REA names its own library, Artlist, Epidemic Sound, and Soundstripe as sources that do not need an extra licence upload. Other music needs a licence. VideoEstate's tracks are not those libraries.

What format do their notes recommend?

For walkthrough reels aimed at the app homepage carousel, the Ignite and supplier articles recommend vertical 9:16, at least 720p, about 90 seconds, and MP4. An older requirements article still describes other file types, up to 1 GB, 16:9, and no branding. Follow the article for the upload screen you are using.

Can my CRM send the video instead?

REA lists listing uploaders such as Agentbox, Vault, Rex, and others, and says YouTube links can go through a CRM in the same area as a 3D tour. Ask your uploader. Only Ignite file uploads are described as eligible for the app homepage carousel.

Is a horizontal video the same as a Property Walkthrough Reel?

No. Their walkthrough reel guidance is vertical. Lifestyle video can be landscape or vertical, and only the vertical file is described as eligible for the app homepage. A horizontal vendor cut can still be the right file for email.

Create the vertical video, then check the music

Export a 9:16 cut from your listing photos. Before you publish it in Ignite, match the audio to REA's current licence rules.
